BMA Wants You!
Your BMA ATL Board is currently planning for an active 2017, but we find ourselves in need of several more people to sit on the Board and help theChapter be all it can be. That means BMA Atlanta not only wants you, we need you!
As the Business Marketing Association name suggests, we’re a group of business-to-business marketers joined together to further our knowledge and skills in the B2B space. While you may earn a marketing degree in college, that curriculum generally places emphasis on B2C marketing, with little or no focus on B@B. Instead, most B2B marketers learn by doing, as well as listening and learning from other experienced business marketers.
Founded in 1922 as the National Industrial Advertisers Association, BMA’s fundamental goal remains unchanged; furthering the art and craft of business-to-business marketing by providing resources and networking for B2B practitioners. BMA is the largest professional organization in the world with a specific focus on B2B.
BMA Atlanta is committed to developing a strong community for B2B marketers in the metro area. To do that, we need a strong Board of Directors to help develop the kinds of programs and events that strengthen the skills and extend the knowledge base of members.
We have several open committee chairs, as well as committee positions, and are seeking the best and the brightest to help us serve the needs of our B2B colleagues. We need new blood, new ideas and new energy to continue our momentum into 2017 and beyond. It’s a great way to learn and give back at the same time.
